(PERTH EAST TWP, ON) – On August 28, 2015 at 8:55 a.m., the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a collision involving a cyclist on Line 33, near Road 111, in the Township of Perth East. Officers arrived to find that a White Sport Utility Vehicle (SUV) was involved in the collision.
The cyclist was taken to a local hospital where their injuries were determined to be critical.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigation (TTCI) unit is assisting the Perth County OPP with this investigation.
A road closure is in place for the protection of emergency responders. Motorists are requested to respect the closure and avoid the incident location.
