During the month of August, the Waterloo Regional Police, Central Division CORE Team worked with a property ownership group in Downtown Kitchener after identifying a rash of break and enters into its building. During these break and enters high end bicycles that were secure within the building were being stolen. The Waterloo Regional Police, Central Division CORE Team were able to identify two subjects during the investigation and arrests were made. Police made two further arrests while working a proactive approach when two males attempted further thefts from the same location. Police laid 14 charges during the initiative.
