(NORFOLK COUNTY, ON) The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Norfolk County Detachment along with Norfolk County Paramedics responded to an incident at a Concession 8, North Walsingham, Norfolk County, Ontario address.
On Friday, August 16, 2013, at approximately 11:02 a.m., police and Norfolk County Paramedics responded to a Concession 8 address for reports of a male that had been injured while working with a cutting saw.
Through investigation it has been determined that a 48 year old male from Jamaica was working with a cutting saw when the saw malfunctioned, causing injuries to the male.
The male suffered life threatening injuries and was subsequently air lifted to a Hamilton Health Sciences Hospital for further treatment.
The Ministry of Labour have been notified.
The investigation is continuing.
