(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON.) – On June 18, 2015 members of the City of Kawartha Lakes Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Property Crime Unit as well as members of the OPP Drug Enforcement Unit executed a Criminal Code warrant at a residence in Bobcaygeon.
As a result, Curtis BARNHART, 24 years of age, of Bobcaygeon was arrested and charged with numerous offences including:
Possession of marihuana for the purpose of trafficking, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA)
Production of marihuana, contrary to the CDSA
Possession of a firearm, contrary to the Criminal Code
Possession of ammunition, contrary to a prohibition order
Fail to comply with a probation order
The accused appeared in court, in Lindsay for a bail hearing on June 18, 2015.
