(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Saturday October 26, 2013Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police Detachment members along with Muskoka EMS and Huntsville/Lake of Bays Fire department were busy between 3:00pm and 4:00pm investigating crashes on Highway #11.
In the span of an hour the members attended 6 different motor vehicle collisions on Highway #11 south of Huntsville. The ever changing weather over the weekend is another reminder to motorist how quick winter like conditions can change the highway conditions. This past weekend was a reminder that staying alert, slowing down and staying in control of your vehicle this time of year is key components to helping you make adjustments for safer winter driving.
Minor injuries were reported as a result of these crashes on Saturday.
