(LAKESHORE, ON) -The 401 remains closed after a crash that occurred just after midnight in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401.
The collision involved a marked Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) cruiser and sport utility vehicle (SUV) that were both travelling eastbound between French Line and Highway 77 in Lakeshore.
There were no injuries as a result of the crash.
The OPP Technical Traffic Collision Investigators (TTCI) are currently on scene and are expected to remain so for the next several hours. The road will remain closed between French Line and Highway 77 while the investigation takes place.
