Craig Harris – Drunk Driving

(CENTRAL HURON, ON) – Just before midnight on December 16, 2011, a Huron County OPP officer observed a vehicle travelling with obstructed windows. The vehicle was stopped on Rattenbury Street West, Central Huron and while speaking to the male driver the odour of an alcoholic beverage was detected. The driver failed the roadside test and was immediately arrested. He was transported to the Exeter OPP detachment in order to provide two samples of his breath to a qualified Intoxilizer Technician.

The result of the two tests confirmed the driver had a blood alcohol level that was above the legal limit of 80 milligrams of alcohol.

As a result of the investigation, Craig HARRIS (24) of Central Huron has been charged with one count of Drive With Over 80 Milligrams of Alcohol contrary to section 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada. He will answer to the charge in the Ontario Court of Justice – Goderich on February 27, 2012. His driver’s licence has been suspended for 90 days as per statute. LP11354230
