(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora OPP Crime Unit and Kenora OPP SOCO officers are investigating a cottage fire on McConnell Lake Road. Police were called on Monday August 25, 2014 shortly after 3:00 am to a report of a cottage on fire. Kenora Fire was on the scene and extinguished the fire. The roof of the cottage sustained extensive damage and one person was taken to hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The office of the Fire Marshal was notified and will not be attending. The investigation is ongoing.
