(QUINTE WEST, ON) – On December 1st, 2016, at approximately 5:00pm officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a complaint about a possible impaired driver near Dixon Drive in Trenton.
Officers located the vehicle at the intersection of Marmora Street and Dixon Drive. After an investigation the officer determined that the driver’s ability to operate a motor vehicle was impaired by alcohol.
Cory CAISSIE, 35, of Quinte West has been charged with:
Driving While Ability Impaired – 253(1)(a) Criminal Code of Canada
Care or Control Over 80 mgs. – 253(1)(b) Criminal Code of Canada
The male was released on a Promise to Appear and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice Belleville on December 22nd, 2016.
