(LAKESHORE ON) – A 27 year old Lakeshore man is facing three charges after striking another man with his vehicle early July 25, 2015 in Lakeshore.
At approximately 1:10 a.m., the accused and the victim were walking with their own groups of friends when a verbal confrontation took place between people in both groups. As a result, the accused, Chad LANDRIAULT of Lakeshore got into his vehicle and drove towards one of the groups of people and struck a 22 year old male from Quebec City and fled the scene in his vehicle. The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. LANDRIAULT was arrested a short time later. He is charged with:
– Assault with a weapon
– Dangerous operation of a motor vehicle
– Fail to stop at the scene of a motor vehicle accident
He was released and will be appearing in court on August 26, 2015 in Windsor.
