(HALIBURTON, ON) – On November 26, 2013 officers from the Haliburton Highlands Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) hosted a Commercial Motor Vehicle Information Seminar at Fleming College in Haliburton Ontario. The event was very successful with over 100 people in attendance, the majority from Haliburton County. Based on the response from the community it was determined that several more of these free public information seminars should be hosted. Possible topics to be covered may include ATV’s/Off Road Vehicles, Motorized Snow Vehicles and Boating. More information regarding these seminars will be released to the public in the near future.
