On Friday November 2, 2012 at 9:00 p.m., a 2003 Hyundai collided with a 2012 Fiat on Gordon Street South, Guelph. The force of the impact caused the Fiat to flip on its side, slide approximately 100 meters across three lanes of traffic, striking a curb where it flipped back on its wheels and came to rest on the front yard of a nearby business. The Fiat sustained substantial damage, and the Hyundai sustained $6000.00 damage. The 20-year-old male driver of the Hyundai suffered minor injuries, and the 18-year-old driver of the Fiat was transported to the hospital with a significant laceration to her left arm.
