(CITY OF KAWARTHA LAKES, ON) – A driver has been charged after a collision that occurred on April 13, 2015 involving a City of Kawartha Lakes (CKL) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) cruiser.
On April 13, 2015 at 5:15pm the OPP was contacted in regards to a two vehicle collision that occurred on Glenarm Road west of Killarney Bay Road. Both drivers were transported with non-life threatening injuries to the hospital.
The OPP’s Technical Collision Investigation Unit (TCI) assisted with the investigation. As a result of the investigation, Tyler JAMES, 21 years of age of the City of Kawartha Lakes has been charged with Dangerous Operation of a Motor Vehicle Causing Bodily Harm contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada.
The accused will appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Lindsay on August 13, 2015.
