Collision On Hwy 21 – 67 Year Old Charged

(HURON TWP, ON) – On July 25, 2016 at 12:49 p.m., the South Bruce Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a 2 vehicle crash at the intersection of Highway 21 and Concession 12 in Huron Township. Officers arrived to find that a Black Volkswagen was stopped in the north bound lane of Highway 21 waiting to turn when it was struck from behind by a Blue Hyundai Santa Fe that was north bound on Highway 21. The driver of the Santa Fe, 67-year-old James HANNIMAN of Huron Township was charged with careless driving. He was taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
