(BROCKVILLE,ON.) On the 14TH of November 2013 at about 11:30 PM officers from the Rideau Lakes Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police were called to a single motor vehicle collision on Rideau Ferry Road in Rideau Lakes Township, Leeds County.
A single vehicle was travelling northbound on Rideau Ferry Road when the driver failed to negotiate a turn, lost control and rolled in the ditch.
The driver and lone occupant 34 year old Timothy WHITNEY of Lombardy was ejected from his vehicle where he was located deceased.
The road was closed for about 6 hours as OPP’s Technical Traffic Collision Investigators and Rideau Lakes officers conducted their investigation.
A post mortem is scheduled for 15 November 2013 in Ottawa. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
