(South Glengarry) – SD&G OPP officers are currently at the scene of a single vehicle collision on Highway 401, South Glengarry Township.
Early stages of the investigation indicate that the driver of a tractor trailer lost control and jack-knifed in the eastbound lanes.
The 54yr old male driver (from Sainte – Amable QC) suffered serious injuries and was transported to the Cornwall Regional Hospital.
A section of Highway 401 between Lancaster and Curry Hill (eastbound) remains closed as emergency crews attend to the scene.
