(KENORA, ON) Members of the Kenora Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are on the scene of a single motor vehicle collision approximately 20 kilometers west of Vermilion Bay. Police received the report of the crash involving a single tractor trailer unit (TTU) just before 6:30 am on Friday December 12, 2014.
The incident is under investigation and Highway 17 is closed in both directions at this time. It is unknown how long the highway will be closed. The O.P.P. will distribute details and updates of the road advisory as information becomes available.
