Collision Closes Highway 138

(South Stormont) – SD&G OPP officers are currently at the scene of a four vehicle collision on Highway 138, South Stormont, Township.

Early stages of the investigation indicate that a southbound vehicle (for reasons under investigation) crossed into the northbound lane causing a collision. Three of the four drivers involved were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

SD &G O.P.P. are requesting motorists to use an alternate route as emergency crews attend to the scene.

Police advise they are expecting to have the roadway open in approximately 1-2 hours.
