(WEST GREY, GREY COUNTY) – On Friday, September 27, 2013 at approximately 10:12 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a collision between a 2005 MILA PS dump truck and a 2009 Chrysler Sebring on Hwy. 6, south of Durham, in the Township of West Grey, Grey County.
Both vehicles were traveling southbound on Hwy. 6. The dump truck proceeded to make a wide right turn into a private driveway when the Chrysler attempted to pass the truck on the right side, resulting in the collision.
The driver of the dump truck, a 25 year old male from Durham, was not injured. The driver of the Chrysler, a 77 year old male, and his female passenger, age 72, from Brockton, were taken to the Durham Hospital with minor injuries.
The investigation is continues. Charges are anticipated.
