(Kemptville) – On September 3, 2014, members of the Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU) – Project Paradigm and members of the Grenville County OPP Crime Unit executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Search Warrant on Garrison Drive, Kemptville, North Grenville County, resulting in the seizure of 113 grams of cocaine, & small amounts of marihuana and marihuana resin. Also seized, was a cocaine press and a conducted energy weapon (CEW).
Colin WILLIAMS, 45, was arrested and charged with the following:
Possession of Schedule 1 (Cocaine) for the purpose of Trafficking C.D.S.A. Section 5(2)
Production of Schedule 2 (Marihuana) section 7(1) C.D.S.A.
Possession of Schedule 2 (marihuana) section 4(1) C.D.S.A.
Possession of Schedule 2 (cannabis resin) section 4(1) C.D.S.A. X 2
Possession of Firearm or ammunition contrary to prohibition section 117.01 (1) CC
Knowledge of Unauthorized Possession of a Weapon section 92(2)
He was held for a bail hearing. He is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice, Brockville on September 4, 2014.
