(MUNICIPALITY OF SOUTH HURON, ON) – On Saturday August 01, 2015, around 1:30 a.m., Huron County OPP officers were conducting a RIDE program at Bluewater Hwy and Indian Rd. A vehicle was observed turning into a driveway and down a side road, in a suspected attempt to avoid the RIDE program. The vehicle was stopped by police and the driver failed a roadside breath test. The driver was taken to the Huron OPP Detachment where he failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
21-year-old Cole James FLETT of Huron-Kinloss Twp has been charged with “driving with more than 80 mgs of alcohol in blood”, contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is to attend at the Ontario Court of Justice in Exeter on August 27, 2015 to answer to this charge.
