(TAY TOWNSHIP, ON.) – On July 4th, 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m., members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police, Tay Fire Department and Simcoe County Paramedic Service responded to a reported motor vehicle collision involving a single motor vehicle on Vasey Road.
An initial OPP investigation revealed that the above motor vehicle was westbound when it crossed the eastbound lane hit an embankment and landed on its roof in the eastbound lane.
A further police check of the driver revealed that he was operating this motor vehicle while under the influence of alcohol.
Charged with “Impaired Operation†and “Exceed 80 mgs.†is Cody DAVIDSON 24 years old from Clearview Twp. First appearance is July 17th, 2014 in Midland court.
