(OTONABEE-SOUTH MONAGHAN TOWNSHIP, ON) – An investigation led by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Peterborough County Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) resulted in a traffic stop on Highway 7 shortly after 3:30pm on August 15, 2018.
During the stop police seized drugs, Canadian currency and 4 cell phones.
Ian Edward Morris (age 29) of Selwyn Township, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-heroin
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-opioid
Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime-under $5000
Traffick in schedule I substance-cocaine
The accused was held in custody and appeared in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on August 16, 2018.
Chad Steven GLADWIN (age 30) of Hiawatha First Nation Territory was arrested and charged with:
Traffick in schedule I substance-cocaine
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
Fail to comply with probation order
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on September 20, 2018
Mandy MCGONIGLE (age 35) of Peterborough, Ontario was arrested and charged with:
Traffick in schedule I substance-cocaine
Possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking-cocaine
Possession of a schedule I substance-opioid
The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Peterborough, Ontario on September 20, 2018
