(CENTRE WELLINGTON TOWNSHIP, ON) – On August 30, 2014 at approximately 2:00 a.m., Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers received a complaint about a possible impaired driver in a 2013 Dodge pickup truck. Police located the vehicle on Water Street East, Elora and believed that the male driver was impaired by alcohol. An arrest was made and he was transported to a local Operations Centre for testing.
The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle impounded for seven days.
Clive HOUSTON-MCMILLAN age 30 of Calgary, Alberta has been charged with Impaired Driving and Over 80 contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on September 9, 2014 to answer to the charges.
