(North Glengarry) – On September 6, 2016 – Stormont, Dundas & Glengarry (SD&G) Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) began an investigation into a report of an assault incident which had occurred at a commercial property on Main Street in the Town of Alexandria, North Glengarry Township. Information indicated that an adult male had assaulted another following an altercation.
On September 8, 2016 – Claude LAVIGNE (52) of North Glengarry Township was arrested and is charged with;
– Assault
He was held in custody pending an appearance (bail) at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cornwall.
