On September 14, 2014, four large plate glass windows were smashed at Barrie City Hall, 70 Collier Street.
Police conducted an investigation in an attempt to determine who committed the offence. The damage was excess of $10,000.
During the investigation, police received addition information of a possible suspect.
Police continued their investigation which identified the suspect responsible for the damage.
On October 18, 2014, a uniformed officer assisted by Criminal Investigations investigators located and arrested the suspect for mischief/damaging property over $5000.00.
Male released with a future court date. He was placed on conditions to stay away from City Hall.
