(HALIBURTON, ON) On Wednesday July 26, 2016 at 9:30 pm an officer from the Haliburton Highlands OPP spoke to a driver of a motor vehicle in the area of Tattersall Road and Clipper Lane.
During the course of the investigation it was determined by the officer that the male driver had been consuming alcohol and he was showing signs of impairment. As a result the male was arrested for impaired operation of a motor vehicle. The male was then transported to the Haliburton Highlands Detachment.
The driver, Christos Trakosas, 49 of Dysart et al has been charged with Driving with More than 80 mgs. of Alcohol in Blood.
Trakosas is scheduled to answer to the charge on October 5, 2016 in the Ontario Court of Justice in Minden, Ontario.
