(ST. CLAIR TOWNSHIP, ON) A Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) program was being conducted by Lambton Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) on Plank road near Brigden road on September 24, 2013 just before 11:00 p.m.
During the RIDE program a male driver was stopped while operating a Honda motor vehicle and during the stop, it was determined that the driver had been consuming alcoholic beverages. Christopher COLUMBUS, 25 years old of Sarnia, ON was arrested and he was required to provide breath samples.
As a result of the breath samples and the OPP investigation, the male was charged and now has a Sarnia court date of October 21, 2013 to answer to the allegations of Impaired Driving and Drive Over the Legal Limit.
