(COUNTY OF BRANT, ON) – The County of Brant Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), an officer was on patrol on Silver Street in Paris and stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation.
At approximately 3:44 p.m. Monday September 9th, 2013, an officer observed the driver of a 2010 Hyundai not wearing a seatbelt. The officer stopped the vehicle and while talking to the male driver, he could smell the strong odour of alcohol on his breath. The male driver was given the Roadside Screening Test and as a result of the test he was transported to the County of Brant OPP for Intoxilyzer Tests.
Christian GERTZ 45 years of age from the County of Brant is facing the following Criminal charge
Exceed 80 Milligrams of Blood Alcohol content
The accused is scheduled to attend Provincial Court in Brantford on October 4, 2013 to answer to the charge.
