The Chatham-Kent Police Service responded to 131 calls for service in the last 24 hours. Six people were arrested, three of which were held for bail
CK15016326 – On the 5th of June, 2015 a 35 year old Chatham female attended the courthouse to turn herself in with respects to an outstanding warrant for Failing to Comply with Conditions. She was subsequently held for a bail hearing.
CK15016311 – On the 5th of June, 2015 Police responded to a Commercial Break and Enter complaint on Industrial Avenue, Blenheim. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) entered the business through an insecure access and removed a power washer. CK15016327 – On June 5th, 2015 a 33 year old Chatham-Kent male was located on foot in the area of Albert Street, Wallaceburg. The male was wanted on outstanding warrants for numerous Domestic related allegations on behalf of the Sarnia Police Service. Following a short foot pursuit he was arrested and transported to the Sarnia Police Service, and held for bail.
CK15016335 – On the 5th of June, 2015 a 46 year old Chatham male was arrested on warrants for Failing to Comply with Conditions, as well as Theft and Possession charges in relation to a shop lifting incident from April 13th, 2015. The male was transported to Headquarters and later held for bail.
CK15016405 – In the early morning hours on the 6th of June, 2015 Police responded to a Break and Enter on Ann Marie Drive, Chatham. Investigation revealed unknown suspect(s) gained entry by “picking” a lock to the residential garage. While inside approximately $2,000.00 in assorted tools were removed. As investigation continued the stolen property was located in a neighboring yard by Police. The Police K9 Unit was utilized and a perimeter was set up in attempts of locate the suspect(s).
