Stolen vehicle recovered CK15025624/CK15025659
On August 24, 2015, between 5:00am and 7:00am, a Canteen food truck (Chevrolet Cube van) was stolen from the Curran Cr. area in Chatham. Male arrested on warrant CK15025637
On August 24, 2015, at approximately 9:30am, a 25 year old Chatham male was arrested on multiple warrants. The male was taken to court for a bail hearing.
Drug seizure CK15025653
On August 24, 2015, at 12:00pm, a Wheatley area farmer called police after finding some Marijuana plants in his field. A total of 8 plants were located and seized for destruction.
Male arrested for theft CK15025654
On August 24, 2015, a 44 year old Blenheim man was arrested for theft and possession after having stolen a bottle of liquor from the LCBO in Blenheim. After being identified on camera, he was arrested and later released with a future court date, the stolen liquor was returned to the LCBO.
Man arrested on warrants CK15025655
On August 24, 2015, a 31 year old Ridgetown man was arrested around 1:30pm on outstanding provincial offences warrants. The male was released with a future court date.
Stolen vehicle investigation CK15025665
On August 24, 2015, shortly after 2:00pm, a Ridgetown resident called police after suspects had dumped a stolen pickup on his property, the suspects were now trying to steal another vehicle. Police attended and arrested a 26 year old Ridgetown man and a 18 year old Ridgetown female in connection with the theft. The male party was held for bail hearing and the female was released with a future court date. All vehicles were recovered. A 3rd suspect fled on foot was identified and a warrant has been requested for his arrest.
Man arrested for fraud/drugs CK15025672
On August 24, 2015, at 3:00pm, a 35 year old Wallaceburg man was arrested for fraud. He was also found to have suspected methamphetamine on him and was later released with a future court date.
Female arrested on warrant CK15025695
On August 24, 2015, just after 6:00pm, an 18 year old female who was wanted on a Witness Warrant was located in Wallaceburg and arrested. The female was held in custody until she is required for court.
