Man Charged with Break and Enter CK15024049
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a break and enter in Chatham last night.
Around 11:15pm, police responded to the area of Ottawa Drive as the man was observed in the homeowner’s garage. The man fled the area on foot however the homeowner followed him and provided officers with his physical descriptors. Officers located the man on Northland Drive near McNaughton Avenue West and he was taken into custody.
The 36-year-old man of no fixed address has been charged with break and enter. He has been held pending a bail hearing.
Man Charged with Assault CK15024026
The Chatham-Kent police have arrested a man following a domestic disturbance.
Just before 6:00 p.m. last night, the man and his girlfriend began arguing while at her residence in Chatham. The man grabbed the woman’s cell phone and started to leave the residence. As the woman approached the man in an attempt to retrieve her phone, the man grabbed her arm and pulled her to the ground. The man fled prior to police arrival. The woman did not require medical attention. Shortly after 6:00 p.m. officers located the man and he was taken into custody.
The 22-year-old Chatham man has been charged with assault. He has been held pending a bail hearing.
Break and Enter in Raleigh Township CK15024000
Sometime between Monday, Aug 3, 2015 and August 9, 2015 unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked garage on Queens Line and stole approximately $15,000 worth of various tools.

Break and Enter in Chatham CK15024019
Sometime August 5, 2015 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. unknown suspect(s) entered an unlocked residence on Princess Street North. Once inside, the suspect(s) stole tools, electronics and cash. Total value of the theft is estimated at $4000.

Theft of E-Bike CK15024058
Sometime late last night or early this morning, unknown suspect(s) stole a blue and white Geo E-bike from a parking lot on Winterline Road in Dover Township. The bike is valued at approximately $500.
