(RIPLEY, ON) – On May 27th, 2011 at 11:03 am, a South Bruce OPP officer on patrol in the village of Ripley watched a Chevrolet Lumina fail to stop at a stop sign on Huron Street, Ripley. The vehicle was stopped and the officer discovered that the driver had a suspended driver’s licence. 63 year old Charles DOWELL of Lucknow has been charged with Drive while under suspension, Disobey stop sign and Operate a motor vehicle without insurance. He is scheduled to appear in Provincial Court on June 21st, 2011 to answer to the charges.
