(Bancroft, Ontario) – On December 21st 2013, the Bancroft detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received the report of a fraud from a resident in Carlow-Mayo Township. Investigation into the incident determined that a credit card had been stolen and used without the owner’s permission.
On April 16th 2014, 22 year old Gregory SZENTGYORGYI of Carlow-Mayo Township was arrested and has been charged with:
Theft of credit card
Use of credit card
Possession of credit card
Fail to comply with probation
Possession of a schedule 1 substance
Mr. SZENTGYORGYI was released from custody on a promise to appear with conditions and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Bancroft on the 20th of May 2014.
