Carlo Kurt HAMILTON – Drunk Driving

(CALEDON, ON) – On Saturday, September 28, 2013, shortly after 11 am, a citizen contacted police to report a white Honda in the ditch on Old School Road east of Bramalea Road. When officers from the Caledon Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended the area, they located the male driver behind the wheel of the vehicle while another male was attempting to free the vehicle off a grassy knoll. Upon speaking with the driver, the officers immediately detected a strong odour of alcohol on his breath. As a result, the male was arrested and transported to detachment for testing.

As a result of the investigation, Carlo Kurt HAMILTON, 20, of Vaughan was arrested and charged with Over 80 mgs.

The Administrative Drivers’ Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.

The accused was released and is scheduled to make his first appearance at the Ontario Court of Justice in Orangeville on October 10, 2013.
