(MUNICIPALITY OF NORTH PERTH, ON) On Wednesday March 19, 2014 shortly after 9:30 p.m., a Perth County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officer on patrol observed a stopped vehicle on Road 154 near Perth Line 72 east of Atwood. The officer, while speaking to the female driver determined that the driver displayed signs of intoxication. The driver was arrested at the scene and transported to the Stratford Police Station where she failed two Intoxilyzer breath tests.
Carissa REDFORD (37) of the Municipality of North Perth is charged with the following Criminal Code of Canada offences:
– “Care or control while impairedâ€Â.
– “Care or control over 80 mgsâ€Â.
She will be appearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Listowel on April 23, 2014, to answer to these charges.
