On May 18, 1015 at approximately 4:15 p.m. a motor vehicle collision occurred on Three Bridges Rd in the Township of Woolwich. A 47 year old St. Jacobs female was operating her Chevrolet car southbound on Three Bridges Rd when she traveled across the road onto the northbound shoulder striking a hydro pole. She was taken to hospital by ambulance with major injuries. Waterloo Regional Police responded to investigate the single motor vehicle collision. As a result of the impact to the pole Waterloo North Hydro closed the section of Three Bridges Rd between King St N and Hawkesville Rd to make repairs. The driver was charged with Careless Driving under the Highway Traffic Act.
