(HALDIMAND COUNTY, ON.) – Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Haldimand County detachment has charged a 21 year old with Public Intoxication at a Greens Road, Caledonia, Haldimand County, ON address.
On Tuesday July 28th, 2015 at approximately 5:25 pm an officer on patrol observed a disturbance occurring between two males alongside Greens Road.
Upon investigating the incident one male fled on foot into a nearby corn field. Acting on the information received from the other male, a safety concern developed due to the extreme heat and excessive alcohol consumption by the fleeing male.
Other Police units attended the area and conducted a search for the male which resulted in his arrest.
He was examined by Haldimand County paramedics before being transported to Haldimand County OPP detachment where he was held in custody until sober.
Charged with Public Intoxication is 21 year old Cameron DRAKE of Hamilton, ON. He was served with a Provincial Offences notice with an out of court settlement.
