(GUELPH-ERAMOSA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On December 14, 2013 at approximately 12:30 a.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) investigated the driver of a 1997 Nissan truck that was travelling westbound on County Road 124 near County Road 32 in Guelph-Eramosa Township. Upon speaking with the driver police discovered that he had been drinking. The driver was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.
The Administrative Driver’s Licence Suspension (ADLS) program was initiated and his motor vehicle was impounded for seven days.
Manuel Trejo aged 56 of Cambridge has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code of Canada. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph Criminal Court on January 17, 2014 to answer to the charge.
