(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On Sunday, August 30, 2015 at approximately 8:40 a.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of an abandoned vehicle on fire on Southgate Road 26 at Southgate Side Road 71 in the Township of Southgate.
Police contacted the registered owner of the vehicle, a resident of Dundalk, who was unaware that the vehicle had been stolen from a residence on Osprey Street sometime overnight. The blue, 2002 Buick Rendevous was destroyed by the fire.
The Dundalk Fire Department assisted.
