(RENFREW, ON) – On January 21, 2016, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit (DEU), Emergency Response Team, Canine Unit, and Renfrew OPP Detachment executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Pucker Street in Renfrew ON.
Quantities of cannabis marihuana, paraphernalia indicative of trafficking and several firearms were seized.
Bruce PIXLEY (50) of Renfrew, ON was arrested and charged with:
Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking of Schedule II substance CDSA section 5(2)
Possession of a Prohibited Device Criminal Code section 92(2)
Careless Storage of a firearm, 2 counts Criminal Code section 86(1)
Careless Storage of ammunition, 2 counts Criminal Code section 86(1)
He was released on a Promise to Appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Renfrew on February 17, 2016.
