(RAMARA TOWNSHIP, ON) – On Monday February 3, 2014 at approximately 6:50 p.m., the Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended and searched the area in and around Brechin in an attempt to locate a male party. The OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) and Canine Unit also attended and assisted with the search. The area searched included the Ramara Township Office on Highway 12 in Brechin.
At no time was there a threat to public safety. Officers later located and arrested the male party without incident.
