(HUNTSVILLE, ON) On Friday August 15, 2014 Huntsville Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was made aware of a break and enter that had occurred at a residence on North Mary Lake Road.
Sometime between August 13, 2014 and August 15, 2014 unknown culprits smashed the window and gained entry to the house on North Mary Lake Road. Once inside the culprits riffled through personal belongings and removed items including an HP laptop and possibly costume jewelry from a jewelry box.
Huntsville OPP would like to remind the residence of Huntsville that if you are planning on leaving your house for a few days take steps to safe guard it in preventing criminal activity. Leaving indoor and outdoor lights on a timer, having family members or neighbours driving into the residence on a daily basis to check residence, take in the papers from the driveway and the mail inside.
