On the 25th of July, 2014 at approximately 5am, a break and enter occurred at the Canadian Tire 75 Dundas Street North, Cambridge. Suspects removed merchandise from a secured compound and fled in a vehicle that was located nearby by responding patrol officers. Officers secured the vehicle and an associated residence. Further investigation resulted in the execution of a criminal code search warrant at the residence and the recovery of stolen property linked to several break and enters in the Cambridge area. Two adult males and two adult females from Cambridge were charged with offences related to break and enter and possession of stolen goods. The two adult males were held in custody pending a show cause hearing. The two adult females were released pending a later court date. Police continue to investigate the origin of some of the recovered property. Community members are encouraged to remain vigilant and report suspicious activity to police.
