(ORILLIA, ON)- The Orillia Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested and charged a male in relation to multiple Break & Enters in Orillia.
On March 17, 2015 at approximately 9:48 p.m., Orillia OPP was dispatched to the report of a Break and Enter on Cedar Island Road in the City of Orillia. When officers arrived on scene they were advised that a residence had recently been broken into and items had been taken. Officers patrolled the area and a male party was arrested with the stolen property.
Orillia OPP received 3 additional Break and Enter complaints on Cedar Island Road and most of the stolen property recovered has been returned to its owners.
William SHILSON, 29 years old of Orillia, has been charged with the following criminal offences.
Break and Enter with Intent to Commit Indictable Offence X 3
Break and Enter-Commit Indictable Offence
Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5000 X 3
Theft under $5000 X 3
Trespass by Night X 4
Unlawfully in a Dwelling X 2
He has been held in custody pending a Bail Hearing today in Barrie.
