(ZORRA TOWNSHIP ON) – The Oxford County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a daytime break-in and theft that occurred on Stanley Street in Thamesford.
On January 14th sometime between 12:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m., suspect(s) forced their way into the residence, stole various jewellery items and a laptop computer.
The OPP is asking residents to be vigilant in recognizing suspicious vehicles that may be sitting in neighbour’s driveways when they are not home or vehicles that are travelling aimlessly up and down roads. The public should try to get descriptions, licence plate numbers and direction of travel and report this immediately to their local police service. It is important for this information to get to police when the suspects may still be in the area.
