(GRAVENHURST, ON) On Wednesday May 13, 2015 just after 8:00am Bracebridge Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) was notified of a break in that had occurred sometime overnight at a business on Muskoka Rd S. in the town of Gravenhurst.
The employees of Service Ontario arrived at work to find windows smashed out of the kiosk. A chained security fence around the desk location in the kiosk was still intact. Investigation found that two cash trays that were in the kiosk were emptied. A substantial amount of cash had been removed, along with Ontario vehicle plates and validation permits.
The OPP Forensic Identification Unit attended to assist with the investigation. Anyone with any information about this break in is asked to contact Huntsville OPP or Crime Stoppers.
