Break And Enter In Dundalk

(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) On April 5, 2016, at approximately 3:20 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a break and enter at a vacant business on Proton Street North, Dundalk, in the Township of Southgate.

The owner had attended to check on the property when he observed a suspicious vehicle parked at the back of the building. An unknown male, who appeared to be nervous, was standing next to the vehicle, a green Honda CRV, with farm plates attached to it. After a brief conversation, the suspicious male left the area.

The owner discovered that the building had been forcibly entered causing damage to the door. A small quantity of change was missing from the cash register which was located on the floor.
