Break And Enter At Sifto

(GODERICH, ON) – Huron County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) officers are investigating a break, enter and theft that occurred at the Sifto’s evaporator plant maintenance shop this past weekend.

Sometime between 4:14 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. on Saturday, January 27, 2018 suspect(s) entered into the maintenance shop located on Regent Street. Once inside the building they forced entry into a secure area where they proceeded to steal numerous power tools.

Some of the stolen tools include: Dewalt grinders, Dewalt drills, Westward wrench sets, Honeywell Miller beam clamp anchor, Dewalt mitre saw, Milwaukee skill saw, various lanyards, gas powered Echo saw and several Dewalt flashlights and batteries.

In total, the stolen goods are believed to be worth about $12,000.

Police believe the suspect(s) may have been driving a Dodge Dakota pickup truck.
