(TOWNSHIP OF SOUTHGATE, ON) – On January 26, 2018 at approximately 8:33 p.m., Grey County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a motor vehicle collision between a pick-up truck and a passenger vehicle on Highway 10 between Grey Road 9 and 240 Sideroad in the Township of Southgate.
The driver of the pick-up truck, 23-year old Reid ROBERTSON, of Guelph, was charged with Fail to Yield to Traffic on Through Highway under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA).
The driver of the passenger vehicle, 24-year old Jonathon DITTMAN, of West Grey, was issued a Part III Summons for Driving Under Suspension and Drive Motor Vehicle, No Current Validated Permit under the Highway Traffic Act (HTA). He is scheduled to appear in court in Owen Sound on February 12, 2018.
There were no injuries reported.
